The son of an electrical engineer, Terry Edwards was born just seven months after the Second World War broke out. He was state-educated in his home country of England but basically spent much of his boyhood learning much about various subjects they didn’t teach you in school. Terry’s abilities in terms of examinations were absolutely abysmal right up to and including his school certificate exams which he managed to fail totally so he left school with effectively zero examination results! But this guy turned to be a late-developer because, to everyone’s surprise including his own, he eventually obtained two university degrees in electronics— a 2:1 B.Sc. and later a research-based Master of Philosophy (M. Phil). Most of Terry’s life has been infused with radio-based electronics and for around twenty years he was occupied in government-related jobs with several organisations in both England and Australia (including lecturing in universities). Later on he worked for a small consultancy firm and this was followed by the setting-up of his own electronics consultancy company. As well as his two years in Australia, Terry has visited many countries worldwide—as far apart as mainland Europe, the Middle East and North America. He currently enjoys living in a small seaside resort surrounded by beautiful countryside in his native England.
